Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We talked to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the ways in which he makes a difference at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the business's success. Among the most essential is the Search API, which powers results on the Search engine result page. Our tech stack consists of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work carefully with the Artificial intelligence group to bring AI-driven features to the customer experience, such as search significance enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly team that prioritizes strong onboarding and continuous assistance. New employee are assisted through the ramp-up process till they're positive taking complete ownership of their work. Each staff member is valuable to other group members when facing obstacles. We value a culture where wins are celebrated openly, and problems are owned together. We also make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep sociability strong. Q. What's your biggest accomplishment so far at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy of the expert development I have actually achieved since signing up with Realtor.com as a Software Application Engineer over 7.5 years back. Throughout this journey, I've established deep domain know-how, stayed up-to-date with progressing industry practices, and consistently worked with contemporary innovations. My commitment to constant knowing and effect caused my promo to Staff Software Engineer and my role as one of the group's technical leads. Most just recently, I've handled the obligation of being individuals Leader for the team-an interesting next action that permits me to support others in their development while continuing to drive technical direction. I take pride in the fact that my long period here hasn't slowed my growth-instead, it's been a platform for me to progress technically and handle greater leadership Q.
